Dunlap Assisted Living opened in 2007 to provide a needed housing option for those who are no longer able to live independently in their own home or apartment but are not suited for nursing home level of care.
The 10-unit program was built using the low-income housing tax credit program and is attached to the Dunlap Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Each apartment includes a microwave, refrigerator, sit-down shower and other amenities.
Available on-site services include medication management, three meals per day, social and leisure activities, weekly flat linen laundry services, housekeeping, 24-hour staff availability and an emergency call system.
