Citizens of all ages shared the dream to create health care options for seniors in the small town of Monona. With the help of the USDA rural community development initiative and the fundraising efforts of the community, that dream became a reality in 2005.
With 12 independent apartments, 16 assisted living units, and 6 assisted living memory care units, the program offers area seniors an opportunity to stay in the community they love. Development funding provided by the USDA Community Facilities Program allows the program to set rates at levels affordable to seniors at a variety of income levels.
