It’s no secret that Iowa is rich in farming tradition—our farmers have proudly fed the world for generations. However, obtaining enough capital to pursue the dream of a future in production agriculture can be challenging for our next generation of farmers. That’s why the Iowa Finance Authority offers several programs specifically designed to assist new farmers in attaining their goal. We know you’re purchasing more than land or livestock—it’s a heritage and future.
This program assists new farmers in acquiring farmland, buildings, machinery, equipment or breeding livestock at reduced interest rates.
