Newlyweds Nick and Haley Peters were on the hunt for the perfect home. They fell in love with a centrally located home in Des Moines that featured original hardwood floors an updated kitchen as well as a yard for their dog to run and play. They did not have a lot saved but thanks to the Iowa Finance Authority’s down payment assistance grant they were able to purchase the home, where they look forward to making countless memories as they start their lives together.
