As Hubbell Realty Company’s Associate General Counsel, Ashley Aust provides legal counsel to the company and affiliated entities.
Ashley manages the legal department at Hubbell Realty Company. She is accountable for the acquisitions, dispositions and development contracts for land and project developments. She also creates strategies for acquisitions, dispositions and private placements of debt and equity.
During her time as associate general counsel, Ashley has led process improvements and technology implementations at Hubbell Realty Company, she’s worked with the governor’s office, state agencies, lobbyists, legislators and interest groups for legislative initiatives, amendments and regulations. She has also worked with various cities on city ordinance changes, development agreements and entitlements.
Prior to her experiences at Hubbell Realty Company, Ashley was a commercial underwriting attorney with Iowa Title Guaranty of the Iowa Finance Authority where she performed closings, provided legal counsel and title coverage specializing in LIHTC and HUD financing transactions.
In addition, Ashley provided assistance with the Iowa Finance Authority Section 8 department with the successful bid proposal for the U.S.Department of Housing and Urban Development project based contract for the State of Iowa.
