With over 40 years of experience in the political arena in various industries, Jane Bell currently works as an independent political consultant.
Ms. Bell served as director of government and community affairs for Ameristar Casino Council Bluffs from 1995–2013.
Prior to joining Ameristar, Bell was a congressional assistant to Congressman Neal Smith in his Council Bluffs office.
She is a past member of Offutt Air Force Base Advisory Council and the Council Bluffs Noon Rotary.
In 1986, she was appointed by then Governor Terry Branstad to the initial board of Iowa Title Guaranty, a division of the Iowa Finance Authority.
Bell also served as a member of the Governor’s Task Force on Touch Play in 2006, at the request of former Governor Tom Vilsack.
Elected to a total of five years as chair of the Iowa Gaming Association by her industry peers, Bell actively engaged in the formulation of rules and regulations that affected the industry in concert with the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission and the Division of Criminal Investigation.
