Lindsey Guerrero is dedicated to protecting Iowa's land-title system through the development and implementation of innovative solutions for Iowa’s real estate professionals.
Prior to joining Iowa Title Guaranty, Ms. Guerrero practiced in the private sector as a transactional real estate attorney representing lenders, consumers, developers and builders in commercial and residential real estate matters.
Lindsey has extensive experience in abstract examination and title clearing. In her practice, she conducted thousands of purchase and refinance closings and regularly represented consumers in for-sale-by-owner (“FSBO”) transactions.
Ms. Guerrero’s practice also included a broad variety of commercial real estate services, including but not limited to, development agreements, construction agreements, escrow services, construction draws, subdivision platting, easements, restrictive covenants, and other development matters.
Lindsey initially joined Iowa Title Guaranty in 2018 as an underwriting attorney, providing real estate and insurance legal counsel to the agency. Lindsey continues to serve as legal counsel, analyzing Iowa Title Guaranty’s underwriting and administrative procedures for compliance with state and federal law, Iowa Land Title Standards and internal policies.
Lindsey serves as a member of the Iowa Land Title Association Board of Directors and as a member of the American Land Title Association’s Title Counsel Committee. Lindsey is an avid backpacker and is actively involved with the Iowa Weimaraner Rescue.
